Letters from Margaret to Caroline

Following the death of Mother Theresa, German foundress of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, her successor wrote to Mother Caroline responding to questions of administration. Their strong desire to strengthen the bonds uniting them becomes evident in their correspondence. The School Sisters of Notre Dame are one of a few women's congregations that remained international during the turbulent 19th and 20th centuries.

Read excerpts of these unpublished letters, finding evidence that they were of "one heart and one soul." It is important to note that Mother Caroline was several years younger than Mother Margaret of Cortona.
